We are dedicated to providing an exciting atmosphere for learning where the individual child’s educational, physical, social and emotional development will be nurtured. Our desire is to make a lifelong difference in the lives of children and their families. We have created something special and unique in the Houston area that exceeds expectations in facility, teachers, quality of care and learning opportunities.

OUR GOAL IS TO:

1. Provide opportunities for the child to become actively involved in the learning process by discovering his world through a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and materials.

2. Involve parents in the Tanglewood Academy’s program through active participation and observation and to establish open communication between staff and parents concerning the child’s individual needs at home and at Tanglewood Academy.

3. Provide a staff which is experienced, well-trained and knowledgeable concerning the development and needs of young children.

4. Maintain an indoor and outdoor physical environment which is safe, and invites exploration and discovery through a variety of quality materials which stimulate the child's physical, emotional and intellectual growth. 

Tanglewood Academy’s mission is to partner with families to establish patterns of lifelong development in mind, body and character during a child’s most formative years.  In order to do this we’ve created the best environment possible with quality teachers, as well as a custom curriculum we created using the top learning resources and curriculum available to deliver an all-encompassing learning experience.
